OOLOONG TEA (Wu-Long), meaning "black dragon tea" in Chinese, is a traditional tea that was first produced towards the end of the Ming dynasty, approximately 400 years ago. Partially "fermented" tea which is allowed to wither, then is partially oxidized and dried. Its color (ranging from 10% to 70% in oxidation) is between green and black. Most Oolongs are produced in China and Taiwan.

![]() Measure 1 tsp. per 6oz serving of water and place directly into your cup, teapot, infuser, or tea sac. Bring fresh, filtered, cold water to a boil (170-185 ºF for Oolong Teas). Pour water over leaves to release flavor & bouquet, and allow to steep 2 to 3 minutes for Oolong Teas. *Proper steeping times contribute to ultimate flavor and aroma. *Over steeping can produce a bitter taste. *To achieve a stronger brew, simply add more leaves. |
